Garden of Lights money finds it way to Kempton crisis centre

This organisation was among 12 charities selected by 12 Emperors Palace employees to each receive R10 000.

Emperors Palace gave away R950 000 to a host of worthy causes, thanks to proceeds raised from the Garden of Lights.

One of the first charitable organisations to benefit from the East Rand resort and casino’s generosity was Life Link Pregnancy Crisis Centre in Kempton Park.

This organisation was among 12 charities selected by 12 Emperors Palace employees to each receive R10 000.

Apart from the R120 000 given to these 12 charities, a further R340 000 each was given to the Peermont Education Trust and Peermont Children’s Trust, while another R150 000 was donated to the Reach for a Dream Foundation.
