Gathering of The Saints (GOTS) hosted another exciting Christian chillas event called First Love on Saturday at Leboeng Section, Thembisa.
This event exited the month of love by gathering Christians to share love under one roof.
GOTS is a Christian movement that seeks to bring young people together to fellowship, eat and have fun in the presence of God. A non-alcohol bar was also available.
Oupa Mashala, GOTS deputy chairperson, said young adults gathered in this space to share and experience the love of the cross. GOTS used this event to remind young people of God, ‘their first love’.
The main speaker, Nduvho Ramulongo, encouraged the masses to ensure that they do not fall out of love with God, as He first loved humanity. “Also, we emphasised that when you love God you can love his people because you can’t say you love God and are not able to love his people.
“The event had young people across Gauteng, Free State, Mpumalanga provinces and beyond who came to experience the love of God while enjoying performances, good food as well as sharing the word of God,” said Mashala.
