Police plead to community to help find missing persons

Teen last seen by her mother when she went to school

Thembisa police officers are looking for Andrew Sihlangu (32) from Winnie Mandela Zone 10 camp and Roselyn Kgapela (18) from Tsenelong section.

The two were recently reported missing and the police are appealing for assistance from the members of the community in tracing and locating them.

According to the police spokesperson, Manyaza Ralidzhivha, Sihlangu was last seen by his girlfriend on January 31, when he told her that he was going to Pretoria.

“The following day when his girlfriend called, his phone was on voice mail. She came and opened a missing person case. Sihlangu was wearing a navy blue shirt, black jeans and red Carvela shoes,” said Ralidzhivha.

Ralidzhivha said 18-year-old Kgapela was last seen by her mother when she went to school at IngQayisivele High School on February 22.

“She was wearing a black top, black long trousers and pink tekkies,” said Ralidzhivha.

Ralidzhivha pleads with anyone who might have information to call Det Sgt Dineo Chuma on 071 575 3120 or 011 926 2970 or call the emergency number on 08600 10111.

Roselyn Kgapela was last seen by her mother on February 22.
