Foundation hosts summit to address community ills

Whatever that was discussed at the summit will be implemented and all the solutions will be effective

Emulous Rivals Foundation hosted the Mr and Miss Community Changer beauty pageant community summit at Harvest of Gospel Power Ministries church on February 29.

The aim of the event was to gather some of the community leaders to discuss situations that are arising in the different communities.

Betty Mulaudzi, pageant founder, said they also discussed about suggested ways to effectively implement change and eradicate or try change social challenges.

“This event was successful. I am so grateful to all the leaders that believed in my dream and shared the goal, all thanks too to my team of Mr and Miss Community Changer pageant for the moral support and love.

“Whatever that was discussed at the summit will be implemented and all the solutions will be effective.”

The issues that were tabled included depression, drug abuse, crime, gender-based violence issues, discrimination, lack of school uniform, unemployment and illiteracy.
