Donations needed for Famsa’s charity shop

The charity shop is part of Famsa’s fund-raising initiatives to assist families in need

Families South Africa (Famsa) appeals to the community for assistance in their quest to raise funds.

The organisation is seeking donations in the form of clothing, bedding, linen, curtains, furniture, appliances, and even in kind donations and more.

“The donations are for our charity shop which forms part of our fund-raising initiatives,” said Famsa’s Nhlamulo Ndhlovu.

The shop is run from the Famsa offices at 15 Pascoe Avenue every Tuesday and Thursday from 8.30am to 3.30pm.

“This helps us to carry out the work we do restoring, sustaining and maintaining functional relationships in our community. Famsa believes that when a family is in a good position, there is direction in the community,” said Ndhlovu.
