Maranatha Community Church now streams its services

The church normally has three services on a Sunday and caters for over 8 000 congregants

In light of the national restrictions brought about by the global Covid-19 pandemic, and its spread in the country, Maranatha Community Church will stream its services online on Sundays.

The church, on the of corner Veld Street and Dann Road in Glen Marais took this decision to enable the church to continue reaching out to members of their congregations.

The church normally has three services and caters for over 8 000 congregants on Sundays.

Nathan Senekal, manager at the local church, said they cancelled services to protect members from the virus.

“The closure is not an act of fear but a demonstration of love and care for our congregants, and a response of Christian responsibility for our community,” said Senekal.

“We will hold live stream services until further notice.”
