Community members fail to practise social distancing at shopping centres.

Social distancing has been a problem for police in their efforts in controlling the number of people at shopping centres.

Several stores at shopping centres have been closed since the start of the lockdown, with only shops selling essentials and pharmacies being open. Some tuck shops in the township were forced to close down as people flocked there to buy their essentials. Tavern owners got creative and sold alcohol through back doors.
