Allen Park to lift total lockdown next week
Residents will be granted a permit to leave the premises on Wednesdays and Fridays.
From April 22, Allen Park will reinstate a permit system allowing residents leave the premises for essential goods and services.
Kempton Park Council for the Aged CEO André Naude said residents would be allowed out on Wednesdays and Fridays.

“Sarie Scheepers will be at the entrance hall from 11am to 1pm every day. Electricity will also be available again for purchase.”
Naude urged residents not to visit one another during this time and to ensure social distancing of one metre from one another.

He extended his gratitude for the support they received over the Easter weekend after a resident (71) tested positive for Covid-19 on April 9.
