Artist dedicates his new song to a strong woman – his mother

Floyd “Fleezy Floyd” Mokwele, a hip-hop/RNB artist, hopes to hit the stars with his new single Dedication, inspired by his mother.
The former Penelopele Oracle High School learner dedicates his latest single to her whom he says has taught him to be strong even through difficult times.
Residing in Winnie Mandela Zone Seven, Mokwele (25) started writing music in 2007, but back then he was a freelancer. He is now a performer who writes and records his own songs.
“I was inspired by one of the hip-hop legends Lil Wayne from America.
“Locally, I drew inspiration from Casper Nyovest simply because he started his music career the hard way and at a very young age.
“The unfortunate part is that I haven’t released any of my music on online platforms so they are not available for downloading. I want to live a better life and I strongly believe my music is the key to that life.”
