Hollywoodbets Kempton Park bet on Shadow Boys
The club practised four times a week before the lockdown
One can bet that the young players from a local football club cannot wait to get back onto the field – thanks to Hollywoodbets Kempton Park.
Shadow Young Boys Football Club is a match kit richer, which was donated by the Kempton Park business.A community member, who is part of the Hollywoodbets Kempton Park team, saw how much the club struggled to get together a match kit and recommended that Hollywoodbets support them.
The club was started because of the community experiencing a lot of stress when it came to crime and drug use among young boys. They, therefore, formed Shadow Young Boys to help give these young people something positive to do with their time and keep them out of trouble.
The club practised four times a week before the lockdown and is made up of 57 players who are split into three junior and two senior teams.
Collen Mdimande, director of the club, believed these new soccer kits will unite the team when they are playing again.
“The teams will play in the same match kit, which will build their confidence. It will also encourage more of the youth to get involved and help them want to participate in soccer, which should lead to growth for the club,” he said.
