Sivuthu breaks stereotyping around male models

Sivuthu says he is inspired by actor Menzi Ngubane, popularly known as Sibusiso Dlomo in the drama Generations.

Yamkela Sivuthu has entered to compete in Mr and Miss Kings and Queens of Mzansi 2020.

Sivuthu from Ivory Park began his acting and modelling careers in 2017.

As an ambitious person he stayed around models and edited their photos and videos while his passion for the stage grew.

According to Sivuthu he embraced his abilities and started to nurture his talents when he entered a school pageant.

“In 2017 I was crowned second prince in the Miss and Mr Umqhele High School pageant. The following year I entered the same competition and was crowned first prince.

“At this time I cultivated a faith I can enter for any pageant and win. Soon after my passion for acting blossomed. Being on stage is so exciting. You must just persevere.”

Sivuthu says he is inspired by actor Menzi Ngubane, popularly known as Sibusiso Dlomo in the drama Generations.

“I love acting because it is not age bound, look at the likes of Morgan Freeman, Marry Twala, and Jerry Mofokeng. I want to pursue a successful career in acting. It is so fulfilling to be able to express myself.”
