Warmth is Comfort and Yethu Communications invite all community stakeholders to assist in donating blankets in their blanket campaign, which aims to help the children of Bulamahlo Care Centre keep warm.
Cold winter days are slowly approaching and the two stakeholders are joining hands to create a blanket campaign to help keep a child warm.
Warmth is Comfort manager Lerato Marotolo said they have been helping the centre for as long as they could remember with blankets through fund-raising events they organise annually.
“This home cares for at least 30 children and it has been a home for many children in the past who have turned out well in life. This campaign is to lay an extra support to the home. These young children have their future ahead of them and its fulfilling to be around them,” adds Marotolo.
Mphendulo Mzamo, Yethu Communications founder, said this campaign is named ‘Keeping The Child Warm’ and it has been running from mid-May.
“The campaign will end in June. We hope that every child could have their own blanket, people are allowed to come and donate anything to the home.
“However, we ask that people who want to donate the blankets to indicate that it is for this particular campaign,” said Mzamo.
Mzamo also added that Yethu Communications focuses mainly on communications, event consulting, campaign management, social media management for companies or artists, branding and more.
