The family wants to thank all the people who called and gave their condolences.
The owner of Executive Lawnmowers, Gawie Williams (64), died on May 7 after a long battle with cancer.
He started the business on June 1, 2004, and helped numerous garden services and tutored up-and-coming businesses in this field.
The family moved to Kempton Park in 1988 and lived in Nimrod Park the past 15 years.
Williams was very active in the community and church and was also part of the Ward 16 community sector handling churches.
According to his family, he never complained about his illness and was always very positive.
“He was a good friend to all who came to his shop and always friendly and willing to assist. He loved his grandchildren, Zanreè (12), Nathan (10), Daniel (8), Ryan (7) and Joshua (3).
“The family wants to thank all the people who called and gave their condolences.
“Also a huge thank you to Martins and ER24 for their assistance during this difficult time.”
