Covid-19 cases in Ekurhuleni close in on 4 000

Ekurhuleni North 2 has recorded the most cases in the metro

On June 20, the City of Ekurhuleni had recorded 3 830 Covid-19 cases with 1 102 recoveries and 23 deaths.

The figures for the sub-districts in Ekurhuleni were:

Ekurhuleni North 1 (Kempton Park, Crystal Park, Ethafeni, Olifantsfontein, Tembisa, Winnie Mandela): 843 with 311 recoveries

Ekurhuleni North 2 (Bedfordview, Boksburg, Chief Albert Luthuli, Dan Kubheka, Edenvale, Endayeni, Esangweni, Itireleng, Kemston, Lethabong, Ramaphosa, Reiger Park, Van Dyk Park): 1 140 with 294 recoveries

Ekurhuleni East 1 (Etwatwa, Daveyton, Brakpan, Tsakane): 321 with 103 recoveries

Ekurhuleni East 2 (Springs, Kwa-Thema, Duduza, Nigel): 252 with 59 recoveries

Ekurhuleni South 1 (Alberton, Brackenhurst, Eden Park, Primrose, Germiston, Leondale, Dawn Park, Tswelopele, Vosloorus, Villa Liza): 889 with 251 recoveries

Ekurhuleni South 2 (Thokoza, Greenfields, Kathlehong, Moleleki, Zonkizizwe, Palm Ridge, Moleleki, Tsietsi Sunrise View, Tamaho, Khumalo, Motsamai): 358 with 73 recoveries
