Man sentenced to 15 years for murder after deadly pub brawl

The station commander Brigadier Samuel Maredi commended the investigating officer for the sterling work.

Karabo Radingwana (21) was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment in Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court on June 15 after he was found guilty of murder.

Radingwana stabbed Khutso Jonas Lesoo (20) in the neck in a local pub on January 21, 2018.

The deceased was rushed to hospital where he was certified dead on arrival.

According to Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sgt Dipuo Ditshego, there was a quarrel between Radingwana and the deceased. Radingwana fled the scene after he had stabbed the victim.

“Detective Sergeant Jason Bramdaw, who played a pivotal role with his team, traced and arrested the suspect six days after the stabbing,” said Ditshego.
