A man (27) was arrested by Kempton Park Police on June 22 after he was found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition under the bridge along the R24.
According to Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sgt Dipuo Ditshego, the police noticed the suspect acting suspiciously and stopped to search him.

The suspect did not have a licence for the firearm and was arrested and detained.
The acting station commander Co Lesetja Manewa applauded the officials on duty.
