Learners maintain a 100m social distance.
Amelia Nel, principal at the school, stated children of any age have the right to access basic education.
“As a school, we conducted some research to see if parents were ready to return their children to school, and the results were great. The learners were anxious to be in school again and to see companions and educators. We are ensuring all protocols, regulations and guidelines are adhered to at all times,” said Nel.
Wisani Sibisi, a parent of one of the pre-schoolers, was delighted to know the nursery has reopened its doors.
“I feel confident that the school will be vigilant for any Covid-19 symptoms and isolate the issue as soon as possible,” said Sibisi.
