Norkem Park SAPS warned residents about an increase in gate motor theft in Norkem Park.
The SAPS urged home owners to document their gate motor details.
“Residents must write down or have record of their gate motors’ serial numbers,” said Sgt Johanna Madiga, spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS.

“Gate motors are being recovered by police. However, we have no evidence as to who the recovered gate motors belong to.”
She said in order to reclaim any recovered gate motors that have been reported stolen, the owners must have a record of the gate motor’s details.
