Flying Squad nabs three suspects and recover stolen vehicles

According to the spokesperson, Grant Giblin, two suspects were arrested after being found with drugs at Freedom Drive in Rabie Ridge and Mabaso Street in Daveyton respectively.

Over the weekend ranging from Friday to Sunday, the Benoni Flying Squad was successful in facilitating three arrests along with recovering three reported stolen vehicles.

According to the spokesperson, Grant Giblin, two suspects were arrested after being found with drugs at Freedom Drive in Rabie Ridge and Mabaso Street in Daveyton respectively.

Cocaine was confiscated in both instances followed by one suspect’s arrest in Esselen Street, Daveyton, for charges of assault.

“In further policing, three abandoned motor vehicles were recovered including a white Ford Ranger at Algeria Street, Tembisa reported stolen on a Tembisa South case. Followed by a white Nissan NP300 at Velelo Street, Daveyton reported stolen on a Crystal Park case as well as a white Scania Truck at 3rd Road, Bredell reported hijacked on a Lyttleton case.”

Giblin said further investigation regarding all cases continues.
