Flying Squad arrests three, recovers hijacked car

Benoni Flying Squad members arrested three suspects and recovered a hijacked motor vehicle in Thembisa from January 15 to 18.

According to WO Grant Giblin, the communications officer for Benoni Flying Squad, three suspects were arrested in Vusi Musi Section and Esselen Park for allegedly dealing in drugs.

Large quantities of rocks (cocaine), nyaope (heroine), and dagga were confiscated.

“In further policing, an abandoned hijacked white Toyota Corolla was recovered in Ivory Park Extension Two.
“The suspects, aged between 18 and 51, will face charges of dealing in drugs, possession of drugs, and contravention of the Disaster Management Act,” said Giblin.
