Man (70) arrested for 2017 sexual assault incident

A Rabie Ridge landlord (70) was arrested on April 15 for the alleged sexual assault of a teenage girl in 2017.

Rabie Ridge SAPS spokesperson Sgt Dipolelo Moremi said on the day of the incident, the victim was walking with a friend in Kanana Extension Five.

“The female victim, a 19-year-old, and her friend, were approached by a man who assaulted her by grabbing her private parts,” said Moremi.

“The suspect allegedly continued to tell the girls that he likes teenagers because they can ‘shake well’. It is also alleged that the suspect told them that he also drinks penis enlargement pills,” Moremi said.

“The suspect was arrested during the Easter weekend and appeared in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court.”
