“With the aid of DJ Shimza, I am preparing a free professional cinematography class in Thembisa.

“I hope to introduce beginners and rising filmmakers to cinematography and film production.

“Attendees will receive R50 in taxi money to attend the course, as well as a free meal on the day,” said Pholushe.

“Students will learn the fundamentals of writing, directing, camera work, and digital editing throughout this course, and each student will develop, direct, shoot, and edit a short film project.

“The course is designed to meet the needs of a wide range of interested individuals.

“All students will be trained to grasp the necessities and rigours of filmmaking, as well as feel the excitement of witnessing a completed product through hands-on classes and practical exercises.”
