Which word is spelt incorrectly in the dictionary? Well, find out as She is Brave prepares boys and girls from the ages of ten to 16-years-old for a spelling bee competition in Ivory Park.

She Is Brave Foundation will be hosting a spelling bee competition for boys and girls between the ages of ten to 16 years in Ivory Park.

The organisation has already started with spelling coaching for interested participants at the Ivory Park North hall.

Founder and organiser, Amanda Nomnqa said the foundation decided to host the spelling bee to contribute to quality education which is one of the United Nations sustainable development goals.

“The spelling bee competition is meant to be an escape for the children in the community so that they have an impactful program that will improve their English at school.

“We hope that this will also improve their leadership skills, presenting skills as well as their comprehension skills,” said Nomnqa.

Although the official date of the competition has not been confirmed interested persons may contact Amanda on 076 774 5459 or attend the coaching classes at the Ivory Park North Hall activity room between 15:00 to 16:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
