Makeup, hair and skin focus points at Allen Park

Visitors and residents at Allen Park Old Age Home were reminded of focusing on enhancing their beauty and taking care of themselves.

Sarie Scheepers (lifestyle manager at Allen Park Old Age Home), Hannon Bothma, and Beatrix Jonker all had fun at the fundraiser.

 

He is the co-owner of the Hannon brand and a household name when beauty is concerned.

During the roadshow, women were taught more about makeup, hair and skincare.

“It truly was an honour to have Hannon form such a big part of our fundraising event.

“I was thrilled when I reached out to him and he agreed to come,” said Sarie Scheepers, lifestyle manager at Allen Park Old Age Home.

“Hannon is someone who likes giving back to the community and it was an absolute pleasure to host him and the roadshow, which was a great treat for the audience.

“Throughout the event, he ensured that everyone, young and old, felt good from inside out.”

Hannon performed practical demonstrations on Beatrix Jonker, who also attended the fundraising event.

Hannon Bothma captured the attention of the audience with his charm and great sense of humour as he shared his well-vested knowledge and experience.

 

Jonker’s face and hair got a bit of a revamp that she thoroughly loved and she told Express how happy she was to be on stage.

Those in attendance were in awe as they witnessed the transformation of Jonker happen right before their eyes.

“It was a wonderful event and everyone loved it,” said Scheepers.

“The comments we received afterwards were truly amazing and show that people loved the event.

“Thank you to everyone who formed part of the day and helped make it the success it was,” said Scheepers.
