Man murdered in Phomolong robbery
The victim was approached by two unknown men near Peter Zongwane School in Phomolong after he had just climbed into his vehicle.
Police are investigating a robbery and murder after an incident on July 25.

A man in his late 30s was robbed and murdered on July 25 in Phomolong.
According to Rabie Ridge SAPS spokesperson Sargeant Dipolelo Moremi, the man was approached by two unknown men near Peter Zongwane School in Phomolong after he had just climbed into his vehicle.
“One was armed with a firearm, and the suspects stole an unknown amount of cash from the man before shooting him,” said Moremi.
Moremi said the victim was taken to the Itereleng Clinic where he later died.

The police are appealing to members of the community who may have any information to come forward.
