Ekurhuleni rowers excel on international stage

Emma, Jeanne and other members of SA's junior rowing squad, competed at the World Rowing Under 19 Championships in Italy.

After representing South Africa Holy Rosary High School, rowers Emma Gomes and Jeanne Riemann recently attended the City of Ekurhuleni’s Women’s Month celebration in council.

Emma, Jeanne and other members of SA’s junior rowing squad competed at the World Rowing U19 Championships in Italy.

After representing South Africa Holy Rosary High School, learners and rowers Emma Gomes and Jeanne Riemann recently attended the City of Ekurhuleni’s Women’s Month celebration where they received awards for their rowing achievements.

 

They enjoyed breakfast with Mayor Tania Campbell and attended the council meeting where they were acknowledged for their rowing achievements.
