WATCH: Community, TCF march to Tembisa Hospital

According to TCF secretary Lele Lefakene, despite voicing their concerns to the appropriate departments, the community members continue to receive poor services.

Hundreds of Thembisa residents marched to Tembisa Hospital this morning to protest against poor service delivery.

Protesters gathered at the Moses Molelekwa Community Centre before leaving for the hospital to hand over a memorandum detailing subpar services provided to the community.

Among those attending the march was the Tembisa Community Forum (TCF).

According to TCF secretary Lele Lefakene, despite voicing their concerns to the appropriate departments, the community members continue to receive poor services.

“Nothing is being done to address the situation.

“We hope that our voices will be heard in order for this to be done.

“We are marching in the direction of transformation. We want the hospital to offer its customers high-quality services.

“We are sick of not being treated like we are humans,” said Lefake.
