Pets up for adoption at local SPCA

The animal will go for sterilisation as soon as there is space at the vet after approval of the home inspection.

These are the steps to follow to adopt a pet at the Kempton Park SPCA:

1. Choose an animal and fall in love.

This adult female Corgi-cross is looking for an amazing home.

2. Complete the application to adopt the animal. Pay R200 (non-refundable) deposit. You need a copy of your ID and proof of residence.

3. The staff will inspect your application.

4. The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete. Pre-homes are ONLY conducted between 10:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.

Zoe can’t wait to meet you. She is an adult female domestic short-haired cat.

5. On approval of the application and pre-home inspection, the balance of the adoption fee is payable.

7. Take your fur-baby home.

The local society reserves the right to reject or refuse the application.

Adoption fees:

Daisy is an adult female domestic short-haired cat looking for a loving family.

• Dog: R1 300 (includes sterilisation, micro-chip, first vaccination, first de-wormer and tag).

• Cat: R950 (includes sterilisation, first vaccination, first de-wormer and micro-chip optional).

Bokkie is a five-year-old Labrador waiting for a new start.
