New milestone for AJP Group celebrated

The inauguration ceremony was graced by His Beatitude, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, Theodoros II, who blessed the campus and its facilities.

AJP Group, a prominent name in retail, property management, and service industries, celebrated the official opening of its new headquarters, the AJP Campus, on December 2.

Situated in the vibrant area of Bonaero Park, Pomona, just off Atlas Road, the campus represents a significant milestone for the company.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by His Beatitude, Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, Theodoros II, who blessed the campus and its facilities.

“We officially opened the AJP Campus, which includes the main office block and a secondary building we’ve named the Alexander Baladakis Building, in honour of my late father, the founder of AJP Group,” said John Baladakis, CEO of AJP Group.

Alexander Baladakis passed away in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“My father and the Pope shared a strong friendship dating back many years, to when His Beatitude served as Archbishop in Zimbabwe.

“I invited him to perform this special blessing, and he was gracious enough to accept despite his busy schedule,” added Baladakis.

The AJP Campus comprises two buildings: the main administrative office and a secondary canteen building.

Extensive renovations were undertaken after the group acquired the premises a few months ago.

Currently, the group occupies approximately 50% of the campus, with plans for further development.

\“This campus marks a new chapter in AJP Group’s journey. It’s a symbol of renewal after what has been a challenging year.

“We’ve consolidated our operations, stabilized our workforce, and are gearing up for future expansion,” said Baladakis.

Established in 1994, AJP Group is approaching its 30th anniversary.

The launch of the AJP Campus signals a fresh start as the company charts its growth trajectory for the next three decades.
