On arrival at the guest house, police officers found the man in possession of bank cards which declined payment.

The man was asked to try another card and produced an FNB card which when swiped alerted the guest house that the card has been reported as fraudulent.

According to Norkem Park SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Barbara-Anne Ferreira, officers went to the man’s room where they found 36 bank cards from different banks.

All of the cards were in the man’s name.
