Suspects arrested with suspected stolen goods in Kempton Park
The duo was arrested and detained at Kempton Park Police Station. They face charges of possession of stolen property.
Officers from the EMPD’s North Task Team recently arrested two suspects for possession of suspected stolen property in Kempton Park.
According to spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, while the officers were conducting crime prevention duties, they received information from a reliable source about a black VW Polo that had been terrorising residents in Bredell, Benoni and Bonaero Park areas.
Dlamini said the officers strategically positioned themselves on the route the suspects usually use to escape. Officers managed to stop the vehicle on Nineth Road, in Bredell.

When the vehicle was searched, officers found multiple goods which the two men failed to account for.
The duo was arrested and detained at Kempton Park Police Station. They face charges of possession of stolen property.
The vehicle was taken to Aeroton pound for further investigations.They are expected to appear at the Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court soon.
