On November 11, Ekurhuleni WPSD was called out to assist with the recovery of a body in Alrode behind a filling station on the R554.

On November 13, Tshwane members, together with K9 Search and Rescue, deployed to recover a body floating next to the bank in the Hennops River on a plot in the Atteridgeville area.

According to spokesperson Warrant Officer Grant Giblin, the body of the badly decomposed victim was swiftly recovered.
