In his bail application, he denied the allegations and indicated his intention to plead not guilty.

The State indicated that the complainant did not oppose the granting of bail.
Bail conditions include that the accused may not directly or indirectly contact the complainant, her family, or any witnesses.
He is also prohibited from coming within 50 metres of the school. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in his arrest.
He will remain in custody until bail is paid. The matter has been postponed to May 6 for further investigation.
