Eleven suspects arrested in drug, theft and attempted murder cases

Six suspects were arrested for drug-related offences in Lorrie Road and Malherbe Street, Mayfield, Putfontein, in Brakpan at Goods Road, Wenden Avenue and High Road, in Kempton Park at Bosch Street.
Crystal methamphetamine, nyaope (heroin) and Mandrax were recovered in these separate incidents.
On June 5 at around 10:00, members with Netstar tracking arrested three suspects at Rolls Royce Street, Impala Park.

The suspects were allegedly found with a silver Toyota Corolla reported stolen in an Actonville case. The suspects were detained at Boksburg North SAPS and the vehicle was impounded.
At around 18:00 on the same day, a 56-year-old illegal immigrant was arrested in Langenhoven Street, Kempton Park, after attempting to flee upon seeing the SAPS vehicle.
Saturday afternoon at around 15:00, a 22-year-old suspect was arrested for attempted murder after an incident on a plot in Kerk Street, Putfontein.
The arrest followed the victim pointing the suspect out to members. A knife allegedly used to stab the victim in the leg was recovered and booked in as an exhibit.

In further policing, a stolen trailer was recovered on the N12, direction Johannesburg, next to Morehill, Benoni; a Kwamhlanga case was reported; and a robbed white Toyota Quantum was reported on the R555, next to Skomplaas, Springs.
Investigation continues in all cases.
The suspects will appear in the local Magistrate’s Courts facing charges of possession of and dealing in drugs, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, being an illegal immigrant and attempted murder.
