City revises waste removal calendar for 2026
From January 2026, refuse collection days in certain suburbs will change to different days of the week.
The City of Ekurhuleni’s Waste Management Services Business Unit has revised its refuse removal collection calendar for selected areas across the city.
From January 2026, refuse collection days in certain suburbs will change to different days of the week. The city said the updated schedule aims to ensure more effective and seamless service delivery for residents.
Below is the Monday to Friday refuse removal programme for the Northern Service Delivery Area – Kempton Park, applicable from January 2026 to December 2027:
Monday: Glen Erasmia, Nimrod Park, Glen Marais Ext 24, Allen Grove, Glen Marais Ext 1, Blue Gill, Aston Manor, Glen Marais Ext 25 & 26, Glen Marais Proper, Spartan, Isando, Jan Smuts and Jurgen Park, Norkem Park Proper, Norkem Park Ext 1, 2 & 3, Esselen Park Ext 1, Phomolong, Terenure (1.75).
