Buti Green celebrates Plant Appreciation Day with Westside learners

The Green Development Foundation donated 20 pairs of school shoes as well as 85 packets of seeds for the learners to plant in the school garden.

The Green Development Foundation celebrated Plant Appreciation Day at Westside Primary School in Kempton Park recently.

Buti Green, the environmental champion, hosted the event.

The Green Development Foundation celebrated Plant Appreciation Day at Westside Primary School in Kempton Park recently.

The foundation donated 20 pairs of school shoes and 85 packets of seeds for the learners to plant in the school garden.

Peu Ya Mohau donated 98 packs of sanitary towels to the Westside Royal Girls Club run by Alexa Otto.

Buyiswa Twala and the school’s natural science HOD Bridgette Solomon, who also assisted the learners in planting the seeds in the garden, received the donations.
