Four-legged friends at Kempton’s SPCA need new homes

On approval of the application and pre-home inspection, the balance of the adoption fee is payable.

These are the steps to follow to adopt a pet at the Kempton Park SPCA:

1. Choose an animal and fall in love.

2. Complete the application to adopt the animal. Pay R200 (non-refundable) deposit. You need a copy of your ID and proof of residence.

This female mixed-breed young adult dog is looking for the perfect home.

3. The staff will inspect your application.

4. The adoption process may take up to seven working days to complete. Pre-homes are conducted ONLY between 10:00 and 14:00, Monday to Friday.

This three-month-old female domestic short-haired kitten can’t wait to meet her forever parents.

5. On approval of the application and pre-home inspection, the balance of the adoption fee is payable.

6. The animal will go for sterilisation as soon as there is space at the vet after approval of the home inspection.

7. Take your fur-baby home.

This adorable adult female domestic shorthaired cat is searching for her new start.

The local society reserves the right to reject or refuse the application.

Adoption fees:

• Dog: R1 300 (includes sterilisation, micro-chip, first vaccination, first de-wormer and tag).

• Cat: R950 (includes sterilisation, first vaccination, first de-wormer and micro-chip optional).
