Local squad nabs two suspects in Rabie Ridge

Between August 25 and 27, police officers from the Benoni Flying Squad arrested two suspects and recovered one motor vehicle.

On August 25, at around 08:00, members followed up on drug related information and arrested two suspects at a residence in Khuraan Street, Rabie Ridge.

Officers recovered 640 ziplock plastic bags containing crystal methamphetamine, 26 grams of broken Mandrax tablets and two weighing scales on the premises.

The suspects will be appearing in the Tembisa Magistrate’s Court facing charges of dealing in drugs.

An abandoned white Toyota Hilux was recovered in Anaboom Street, Ebony Park.
