Man shot and killed in Norkem Park
A man in his early thirties was shot and killed in what seems to be a hijacking in Birch Acres after he dropped off three women he gave a lift.
A man was shot and killed in Norkem Park on September 12.
On the night, the victim gave a lift to three women from Kempton Park to Birch-Acres Extensions.
When the women entered a house they heard a gunshot.
According to Norkem Park SAPS spokesperson, Warrant Officer Barbara-Anne Ferreira, the women went back outside and found that the driver who gave them the lift was lying on the road.

“Police and ambulance services were called. The man was declared dead at the scene.
“A white Volkswagen Polo was taken from the scene.
“The women do not know the victim or the registration number of the car,” said Ferreira.
Norkem Park Police Station has appealed to anyone in the community who may have information on the victim to contact the station.
