Karateka wins All Styles Dojo Cup Challenge
According to sensei Janien Potgieter, Megané has also won gold, bronze and silver medals during her various championships.
The Dojo Kempton Park’s Megané Potgieter recently participated in the annual All Styles Dojo Cup Challenge, hosted by New World Shotokan Karate and held in Brakpan.
“Megané has done The Dojo Kempton Park proud. Her constant hard work and dedication have paid off,” said sensei Janien Potgieter.

“Megané outshone her opponents in kata and kumite and brought home two gold medals.
“Her first championship was held in March, where she won a gold medal and a silver one.
“At her second championships in June, she won a silver and bronze, and in her third championships held earlier in September, she won two gold medals,” said Potgieter.
