High achievers of Jeugland get awards

The school recognised and celebrated the achievements of those involved at the highest level in the school, as well as acknowledging excellence and dedication.

At the Jeugland 2023 Awards evening, the school recognised and celebrated the achievements of those involved at the highest level in the school, as well as acknowledging excellence and dedication in development by those demonstrating the true values of being a Jeugie.

Zelmia Dege was awarded leader of the year female and Jeuglander of the tear female.

Corné van Zyl was awarded Dux learner of the year.

She was also awarded the best academic achievement in Grade 12 for her sustained academic achievement from Grades Eight to 12.

The leader of the year male went to Edesen Masombuka, while the leader of the year female went to Zelmia Dege.

The award for senior sportsman of the year was awarded to Junior Tukuta.

Edesen Masombuka and Hano Ott took Jeuglander of the year male. The Jeuglander of the year female went to Zelmia Dege.

Junior sportsman of the year went to Bruno Amadi, and junior sportswoman of the year went to Favour Nkwankwo.

Corné van Zyl was awarded Dux learner of the year.

Senior sportsman of the year went to Junior Tukuta, while Nikita Nel and Angela Monyekgope took senior sportswoman of the year.
