Christmas comes early for residents

Goosen said they would still have a big lunch on Christmas Day for those staying at the home.

Herfsland Home for the Aged recently held its year-end party.

Residents were treated to a Christmas lunch and entertained by a talented trio of musicians who played Christmas carols.

Collen Goosen, a nursing services manager, said that staff handed out presents and celebrated an early Christmas before everyone left to be with their families.
