One killed and one injured during robbery in Kaalfontein

Ivory Park SAPS station commander Brigadier David Mbongeni-Ngcobo appealed to the community for information on the murder of a 33-year-old man in Kaalfontein on February 6.
Another victim was also injured during the incident.
According to Mbongeni-Ngcobo, the victims came across a group of six men who, without warning, started shooting at them.

“The deceased was shot in the abdomen. EMS officials certified him dead, while the second victim was shot twice. A cellphone and money were taken from the second victim.”
Mbongeni-Ngcobo said the second victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
He added two other victims managed to escape the ordeal without injury.
“Chances are someone out there knows who these people are and we appeal for information in our quest to bring the perpetrators to justice,” said Mbongeni-Ngcobo.
