Visit Melville Koppies and experience a cooler weather
Park opposite the entrance to the Koppies at Marks Park Sports Club in Judith Road, Emmarentia.
“If the sweltering heat is getting you down and you have had no water coming out of your taps, come and cool down at Melville Koppies,” said Jenny Grice, a Melville Koppies volunteer.
“Be calmed by the noise of the spruit bubbling over the rocks and cool down in the many forested areas that cover the area.”
Melville Koppies opens every Sunday from 08:00 to 11:30.
Choose from a 5km self-guided hike, a 3km self-guided heritage trail, or guide yourselves across the 55ha nature reserve.
