Wynand Marais Senior Citizens Club hosts bingo event

Wynand Marais Senior Citizens Club held a successful Bingo day on May 4.

A total of 91 participants enjoyed the fun and games set for the day.

James Davison, the club’s secretary, said the event’s purpose was to raise funds to subsidise the various activities and outings organised throughout the year.

“We host the event twice a year and our next event is set for October,” said Davison.

The event featured attendees from Kempton Park, Benoni, Boksburg and Edenvale.

Members of the club meet every Wednesday at 9am at the Wynand Marais Hall for an array of activities such as quizzes, darts, speakers and Bingo.
