Water police recover body of woman

The SAPS Gauteng Water Policing and Diving members June 11 at about 12:45 attended to a drowning incident at Roodekrans, Roodepoort.

Members responded to a scene where the body of an adult female victim was recovered, floating on her back in the river.

The age of the victim is between 25 and 35.

Because foul play is suspected, an inquest docket was opened at the Roodepoort SAPS for further investigations.
