Ditshego said that to prevent further crimes, the SAPS held saturation operations, monitoring malls, ATMs, schools, and petrol stations.

The Kempton Park SAPS station commander, Brigadier Lindani Ndlovu, embarked on a comprehensive operation to combat crime in the area on July 27 and 28.

According to Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego, the operation was divided into phases, with Lieutenant Colonel Anton Jonker and his team, including Warrant Officer Tonic Mathebula, Sergeant Caiphus Mphahlele, and others, receiving information that led them to a house on Commissioner Street.
