Kempton Park Development Agency embarks on a clean-up campaign
The clean-up campaign took place on Anson Street in Rhodesfield, between the Gautrain station and the PRASA train stations.
The Kempton Park Development Agency (KPDA), an NPO, recently hosted a successful community clean-up campaign.
The event brought together volunteers, residents and stakeholders to help beautify the community, promote environmental sustainability and foster a sense of shared responsibility for public spaces.

The campaign was on Anson Street in Rhodesfield, between the Gautrain station and the PRASA train stations.
Olebogeng Mothibi, the executive director of the KPDA, expressed gratitude to all who participated.
“We are incredibly proud of what the community accomplished on Saturday.
“This campaign was not only about cleaning up the environment. It was also about bringing people together to take collective responsibility for our town,” said Mothibi.

“The dedication and commitment of our volunteers were inspiring, and the success of this event shows how powerful we are when we unite for a common cause.”
Mothibi said the KPDA planned to hold similar campaigns throughout the year to make Kempton Park a cleaner, greener and more sustainable community for all.
The agency encourages businesses, schools and community groups to join future efforts and continue to champion environmental responsibility.
