The suspect now faces charges of impersonating a police officer, possession of police uniform, and possession of equipment used to commit a crime.

EMPD Northern Task Team and Kempton Park Precinct collaborated to arrest a man impersonating a police officer in the Kempton Park area on October 18.

EMPD spokesperson Zweli Dlamini reported that officers acted on a tip-off and tracked down a white BMW fitted with blue lights and a siren, mimicking a police vehicle.

Some of the seized items found inside the car.
