Kempton Park SAPS embarks on clean-up operation
During these campaigns several problematic street in the CBD sush as Maxwell street, Margaret street, Long street, Pretoria road west street were cleaned .
Kempton Park Social Crime Prevention co-ordinator Sergeant Ntombi Abrokwa and Sector Three commander Sergeant Tendani Masgabela, under the leadership of Vispol support commander Lieutenant Anton Jonker, recently launched Operation Kempton Park Clean-Up.
The team was joined by crime prevention wardens, Cynthia Dinala from Tshegofatsa Rona Welfare, representatives from Kempton Park McDonald’s and the Kempton Youth Desk.

Kempton Park SAPS spokesperson Sergeant Dipuo Ditshego said that the initiative involved cleaning several problematic streets in the CBD, including Maxwell Street, Margaret Street, Long Street, Pretoria Road, and West Street.
“The campaign began at the Kempton Park SAPS and its surroundings, to reclaim our streets,” said Ditshego.
“This initiative marks the start of more operations like this, and we are committed to making Kempton Park a safe place for everyone.”
Jonker expressed gratitude to all participants who made time for the clean-up, showing residents that Kempton Park can indeed be reclaimed.

Alongside the clean-up, patrols were conducted to ensure that criminals have no space for illegal activities in the town.
“By working together, we can make Kempton Park a safer and better place for everyone,” said Ditshego.
